Lucknow, June 29, 2025:The Late Ran Bahadur Singh Memorial Lucknow District Badminton Championship 2025 concluded with great fervor and sporting excellence at the state-of-the-art BBD Badminton Academy. Organised by theLucknow Badminton Association under the Uttar Pradesh Badminton Association banner, the championship took place from June 26th to 29th, attracting the city’s best talent across age groups and categories.
The tournament, held in memory of the late Ran Bahadur Singh—a key figure in nurturing badminton in Lucknow—witnessed intense rallies, nail-biting finishes, and the emergence of future champions.

Over 550 participants competed across 25+ categories at the high-performance BBD Badminton Academy facility, reflecting the growing grassroots strength and technical caliber of Lucknow’s badminton ecosystem. The awards were given away by Shri. VirajSagar Das, Chairman, UPBA and Shri.NavneetSehgal, President, UPBA.
